DAY 136: Singing Puppets

May 15, 16, 17 011, originally uploaded by Kikigill.

My birthday gift from my parents was a trip to Broadway...always a big hit in this family. We got tickets to see Avenue Q, the highly bawdy, singing puppet show. It was good. I think it might have been built up a touch, though. I do think it was very clever. There were just some scenes that made me a bit uncomfortable...like the puppets having dirty doggy-style sex was a bit much for me. Take a look at the song titles and you're probably gonna catch my drift...then, imagine puppets singing these songs. It was odd. Good, but odd. Funny, but odd.
