See that? That's the George Washington bridge as you head into New York City. You are driving down the Henry Hudson Parkway, by far my favorite approach to New York City. Well, my other favorite approach was when I was flying into the city on Sunday and we flew up over the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and Queens. We must have flown over fifteen nameable landmarks. I was fortunate enough to be seated beside someone who had never flown into New York before. She was happy to be regaled with details...there's the Empire State Building, there's the World's Fair Grounds, Yankee Stadium, JFK Airport, Long Island, Central Park, Prospect Park, and HUGE graveyards.
